    Academy of Management INTERNATIONAL THEME COMMITTEE
    Call for NOMINATIONS and SELF-NOMINATIONS
    for LEADERSHIP TRACK starting with
    CHAIR, EMERALD BEST INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM AWARD
    progressing through Dexter Chair, ITC PDW Chair, ITC Chair, and Past ITC Chair

    The International Theme Committee is calling for expressions of interest (EOI) for Chair, Emerald Best International Symposium Award.  The Emerald Best International Symposium Award is an All-Academy award given to the symposium that best meets the objective of internationalizing the Academy. This serves the mission of the Academy and the charge of the International Theme Committee (ITC) which sponsors this Award with Emerald Publishing.

    The Chair of the Emerald Best International Symposium should be a member of the Academy of Management. In addition, s/he needs to demonstrate that a strong international focus in their academic endeavours and activities. The Chair works with the AOM Division Chairs, the ITC Chairs and is responsible for organising a peer review process for the competing symposiums. In addition, the Chair enters into the ITC multi-year governance rotation and will  progress to the Chair of the Professional Development Workshops the following year, then the Chair of the Carolyn Dexter Best International Paper Award, Chair of ITC, and then Past Chair of ITC.

    Please send a copy of your CV and a one page EOI summarising your 1) international academic activities and endeavours and 2) statement of how you would work in the leadership role as the Chair of the Emerald Best International Symposium Award.
