    CALL FOR SELF-NOMINATIONS

    ITC- Emerald Best International Symposium Chair

    The International Theme Committee (ITC) of the Academy of Management is seeking to fill the position of Emerald Best International Symposium Chair.  This person will enter into the ITC governance rotation for eventual chair of the ITC committee after serving through as Emerald Best International Symposium Award chair, PDW chair, and Carolyn Dexter Award chair.  The charge of the ITC is:  

    ·       Internationalize the Academy, as an organization

    ·       Assist Academy members improve their understanding of the internationalization of business trade and other" forms of organizational transactions

    ·       Encourage Academy members to become exposed to/provide exposure for organizational scholarship being conducted in non-US countries 

    ·       Assist the membership committee in their charge to expand and integrate international members in the Academy
