Responsibilities
The Department of Management in the Erivan K. Haub School of Business at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Saint Joseph</st1:city></st1:place>'s University is currently recruiting for one tenure-track position at the Assistant level effective August 2009. We are interested in applicants in either Organizational Behavior or Strategic Management whose program of research is in Entrepreneurship.
<st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Saint Joseph</st1:city></st1:place>'s University is a private, Catholic, and Jesuit institution and expects members of its community to be knowledgeable about its mission and to make positive contributions to that mission, although one need not be Catholic. The university total enrollment is approximately 7,900 students. The Haub School of Business is AACSB accredited with more than 70 full-time faculty and close to 45 percent of the student body. The part-time MBA program is ranked among the Top 25 in the nation by <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">U.S.</st1:country-region></st1:place> News and World Report. Additionally, <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Saint Joseph</st1:city></st1:place>'s was named one of Greater Philadelphia's 40 best places to work by the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Qualifications
Applicants with a Ph.D. already in-hand are preferred to those that are ABD. Excellent teaching skills are essential and the successful applicant will teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with opportunities to teach in the Executive Programs. Applicants must show a proven research record or demonstrate evidence of strong potential in Entrepreneurship.
