On behalf of Prof. Mitchell
Yesterday I sent the correction notice, below; and I was hoping that it could be posted quite soon thereafter, since otherwise, the inadvertent misunderstanding might have growing unintended negative consequences for the Division (the misunderstanding about endorsements might grow – and be increasingly difficult to correct).
Since I haven't yet seen it posted, I am wondering how soon you think you could get this posted?
Thanks for all your help,
Ron

Subject: Correction Please
Hi Colleagues:
You may have just received an email from a new ENT Division member who is somewhat unfamiliar with our process regarding endorsements. In this email he has said:
"Ronald Mitchell, Entrepreneurship Division Chair and Professor of Entrepreneurship at Texas Tech University, has provided me with this opportunity to introduce you to a new book which focuses on entrepreneurs and start-up companies."
While it is true that I provided the information necessary for Mr. Robert Ochtel to join the ENT Division and thereby obtain access to the ListServe; the wording of the announcement might be construed to be a soft endorsement.
This is not the case, since it is the express policy of the Division, NOT to endorse particular works. I have not read the work, nor do I have any knowledge of its contents.
Please put this inadvertent potential misunderstanding down to the learning curve, and proceed as if my name had not been used in this context.
Thanks for the understanding of all concerned.
Cordially,
Ron
