Dear colleagues,
I am conducting a comprehensive meta-analysis of the empirical literature
on divestment and firm performance. While I have compiled an exhaustive
database of published studies, I would appreciate getting copies of any
unpublished empirical studies (working papers, etc.) you may have done, or
are aware of. The definition of divestment used in my study is
a "company's adjustments of its ownership and business portfolio structure
via spin-off, equity carve-out, split-up, leveraged buy-out, or unit sell-
off," based on Brauer (2006), Woo et al. (1992), and Buckley (1991).
If you have any unpublished empirical studies relating to divestment
(antecedents, consequences, and patterns, as well as any existing meta-
analyses), please help me raise the quality of my study by sending them to
me (
eastray76@gmail.com). I would be happy to share with you the results
of the meta-analysis, once the study is completed.
