Hi Doan, The following 2009 in-press paper uses secondary data on family
firms:

However, some of the sources of the secondary data were papers that had
collected data from family firms around the world. It might help to dig
deeper into the sources.
As a side note, you might find some of the theory stuff in the paper
useful too.
