Reporting to the Dean of the Crummer Graduate School, the Director will serve as the Center's chief spokesperson and executive administrator, ensuring its growth, efficacy and financial viability. Responsibilities include fundraising for Center activities, networking, assuming leadership positions in a variety of community organizations, and mentoring students, alumni and community entrepreneurs.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, successful experience as an entrepreneur.
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in entrepreneurship or business-related field; significant experience in raising capital, senior level administrative and leadership experience.
The primary purpose of the Center is to be a gateway to the "real world" of entrepreneurial business for MBA students at Rollins. To supplement traditional classroom teaching, the Center provides a variety of practical experiences, including seminars, workshops, mentoring programs, internships, consulting engagements with companies, and speakers both in and out of the classroom. These programs are made possible through the involvement of entrepreneurially spirited organizations in the community. In exchange, the Center provides significant benefits to the entrepreneurial community, including a pool of talented MBA graduates and advanced entrepreneurship learning opportunities.
