Full-time Fixed term for 2 years
The University of Leeds seeks to appoint a Post-doctoral researcher in Enterprise Education.
The successful candidate will be working in the Enterprise Education Group for Impact and Research (EEGIR -
http://lec.leeds.ac.uk/research/eegir/) located in the Leeds Enterprise Centre (LEC -
http://lec.leeds.ac.uk<http://lec.leeds.ac.uk/>) and more specifically supporting two research projects:
• Investigation of the impact of online enterprise education on 16-18 year-old students in the UK. Funded by Leeds Enterprise Centre and Enterprise Educators UK (http://www.enterprise.ac.uk<http://www.enterprise.ac.uk/>).
Principal Investigator: Dr. Sally Jones
• European Study into Student Entrepreneurship (ESSE). This collaborative three country investigation involves universities in Spain, Sweden and the UK. Funded by Leeds Enterprise Centre. Principal Investigator: Prof. Nigel Lockett
The successful candidate will hold, or be close to obtaining, a PhD in enterprise education, entrepreneurial learning or an enterprise or entrepreneurship related discipline. They will have research experience in empirical investigations with strong qualitative skills and an interest in engagement and impact. They should be willing to work on a variety of research projects within EEGIR portfolio of projects and support the EEGIR community. They will need to be willing to travel, when required, to national and international activities.
The Leeds Enterprise Centre is part of the Leeds University Business School (LUBS) which hosts one of the largest groups of entrepreneurship and enterprise researchers in the UK (http://lec.leeds.ac.uk/research/faculty-and-researchers/).
