McNeese State University invites qualified applicants and nominations for the position of Assistant Professor of Management in the Department of Management, Marketing, and General Business. This is a full-time, 9–month, unclassified, tenure-track position. The appointment begins in August 2009.
Position Description and Responsibilities: As assistant professor, the appointee will be responsible for teaching in the management program in the area of Strategic Management/Policy while fulfilling all the normal duties and responsibilities of a professor at McNeese State University, including maintaining their academic qualification for AACSB. Applicants who can also teach in the area of Entrepreneurship are especially encouraged to apply.
Qualifications: The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. or D.B.A. in management from an AACSB accredited institution, be academically qualified by AACSB standards, and have demonstrated teaching skills. A.B.D. in management from an AACSB accredited institution will be considered.
Salary: Competitive based on experience.
