    Bradley University announces the availability of the Turner Chair of Entrepreneurship effective Fall, 2009.

     

    The Turner Chair of Entrepreneurship is responsible for directing and developing the academic entrepreneurship programs at Bradley University.  The Turner Chair holder will teach six hours per semester in addition to advising the Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization chapter, working with the director of the Springboard Business Plan Competition, developing/improving the Entrepreneurship major, interfacing with the Turner Entrepreneurship Center, and conducting scholarly research in entrepreneurship-related fields.

    The award-winning entrepreneurship program at Bradley University includes one of the fastest growing majors in the university, a business plan competition featuring $100,000 in cash and in-kind awards, a fully-underwritten CEO club, funding for research and travel, and opportunities to work with faculty across the campus to develop entrepreneurship-related courses.

    The entrepreneurship program is housed within the Business Management and Administration Department in the Foster College of Business Administration.  The Foster College of Business Administration is fully-accredited by AACSB International and has nine majors and five minors in five departments.  Bradley University also operates the Peoria Next Innovation Center near campus.
