Academic Level B: $81,239 – 96,435 plus 17% superannuation
Full-time, 3 year position from January 2015, based at the Hawthorn campus
Swinburne University of Technology has a long, proud history of educating and training students for over 100 years.
A unique opportunity exists for a Postdoctoral Researcher to conduct research into Swinburne's new PhD program in technology innovation. The position will be based in the Centre for Transformative Innovation and connect to the ARC Industrial Transformation Training Centre in Biodevices (Swinburne BioReactor).
The successful candidate will have expertise in the educational and training aspects of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and will be keen to apply these abilities to address the challenges faced by manufacturers and developers of high technology products, including biomedical devices and diagnostics. The role will involve research into the impacts of the BioReactor on student, industry and academic participants.
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
An earned doctoral qualification in entrepreneurship and/or innovation and/or business
Demonstrated knowledge of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship education, technology, commercialisation and innovation processes
A high degree of organisational and administrative skills and capacity to contribute to management of research program delivery
Demonstrated resourcefulness, initiative and the ability to meet tight deadlines
