The response to the 2008 AGSE International Entrepreneurship Research Exchange was outstanding. A total of 31 international universities were represented plus 33 Australian/New Zealand universities. There is no doubt that past conferences have been a great success in terms of exchanging ideas and in developing and consolidating our networks. In 2009, we are looking forward to another set of great quality papers that deal with cutting edge scholarly issues.
The 2009 IERE Conference is hosted by the Entrepreneurship, Commercialisation and Innovation Centre (ECIC) at The University of Adelaide. Doctoral Consortium - Feb 3 & 6, 2009
All enrolled research students are invited to seek a place in the Doctoral Consortium on Tuesday 3 February and the afternoon of <st1:date month="2" day="6" year="2009">Friday 6 February 2009</st1:date>, in addition to attending the Research Exchange.
This is a great opportunity for enrolled doctoral candidates in entrepreneurship and innovation! By participating you will get an excellent chance to network with peers and get feedback on your research ideas from internationally leading scholars in your field. Sessions where PhD candidates' research plans are presented and discussed are mixed with sessions where internationally leading scholars share their advice and experience about doing research in entrepreneurship and surviving the doctoral process.
The consortium focuses on research learning, mentoring and networking. Its three purposes are to raise the standard of doctoral research, to develop a cadre of outstanding researchers in entrepreneurship and innovation within <st1:country-region><st1:place>Australia</st1:place></st1:country-region> and the region and to facilitate networking among the coming generation of entrepreneurship researchers.
