"No Need to Reinvent the Wheel"
Best Practices in Academic Administration
AAPDW Saturday, August 9, 2008 1:00 pm (Convention Center 304A)
At some time in our careers most of us are involved in academic administration (e.g., AACSB accreditation, assessment, or administering academic programs). However, we believe there is no reason to "reinvent the wheel" on administrative practices. Therefore, the Academy is sponsoring a new All Academy Professional Development Workshop that brings together academic administrators to share their best practices.
This will be a highly interactive session that:
a. Provides a forum for sharing best practices in administration
b. Identifies the questions that occur across institutions
c. Generates a set of practices that participants can take with them
