Director, SSB Entrepreneurship Center
The William S. Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University is building a comprehensive entrepreneurship program and invites qualified candidates to apply for the Director of Entrepreneurship Center. The center will enjoy a significant sustainable base of support and indications of future generous gifts. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the program, and will serve as the focal contact for all business school related entrepreneurship activities. The director will work closely with the dean's office and a newly proposed department of entrepreneurship to raise the visibility of the business school in the area of entrepreneurship. The director will also be responsible for coordinating and collaborating with units in the business school to deliver entrepreneurship curriculum and outreach programs; and for developing partnerships with other university, state, and private entities to facilitate entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial activity in the state and region. There is also the opportunity to teach courses in entrepreneurship.
Qualified applicants should hold a master's or PhD degree in business or related field and have five or more years of significant entrepreneurial and/or project management experience. Candidates should demonstrate a record of leadership and working collaboratively in an inter-disciplinary environment.
