The Department of Management in the College of Business Administration invites nominations and applications for two Assistant/Associate Professor of Management positions.  Georgia Southern University is a member institution of the University System of Georgia and a Carnegie Doctoral/Research University devoted to academic distinction in teaching, scholarship, and service. At Georgia Southern we provide a culture of engagement that bridges theory with practice, extends the learning environment beyond the classroom, and promotes student growth and life success.

Founded in 1906, the University now serves more than 20,500 students and offers more than 100 campus-based and online degree programs at the baccalaureate, master's, and doctoral levels. Management majors may select an emphasis area, if desired, in human resource management, small business management, or entrepreneurial leadership. Faculty members are expected to contribute to the department's goal of achieving national distinction. Faculty must also be willing to interact with students through activities such as mentoring and collaborative research.  In addition to the undergraduate curricula, departmental faculty may participate in the delivery of the MBA (traditional and online), Master of Accounting and Ph.D. in Logistics and Supply Chain Management programs.
