This year's Max Planck School on Entrepreneurship Research will be held
in Jena, Germany, from August 25th to 29th. The workshop organizers,
David Audretsch and Holger Patzelt, have stated the following goals for
the event:
• Discussion of issues, trends and interesting future developments in
entrepreneurship research with Ph.D. students and senior researchers
• Sharing the view of leading scholars in the field of entrepreneurship
research
• Meeting young scholars of entrepreneurship from around the world
Distinguished professors who have been invited to hold classes during
the week include Rajshree Agarwal, Melissa Cardon, Hans-Georg Gemünden,
Norris Krueger, and Frank Rothaermel.
The event, which is in its fifth year, will be held at the Max Planck
Institute of Economics in Jena, Germany. One highlight of the event will
be a tour of and dinner at a local castle, the Leuchtenburg
(http://www.museum-leuchtenburg.de/english/index.html).
The deadline for applications is May 15, 2008.
