    Hi all,

I am working on an research project that involves an assessment with a large number of small business entrepreneurs in Brazil to identify the most common administrative techniques or practices they use on a daily basis to take decisions and run their businesses.

Do any of you know any previous similar research that could help me to identify what would be these common practices? I refer to practices like: Goal settings, Financial controls, Information search, extensive training, planning, continuous quality improvement and others. I need some reference to build both the questionnaire tool and the theoretical support.

I appreciate any contribution on it.

You can send it directly to my email: marcosh@isp.edu.br

    Best regards

    Marcos-

Check Carter McNamara's "Free Management Library" at
"http://www.managementhelp.org/". I sure you can construct a useful
    check list from Carter's material.

Take a look also at the site of the Small Business Administration of
the US Department of Commerce and it's subset, SCORE.
