QUT's Faculty of Business (Brisbane, Australia) is delighted to host the 16th Annual Conference on PBFEAM, being held from Wednesday 2 to Friday 4 July, 2008. For the first time in the 16-year history of the Conference, it will be held outside of Asia and the United States of America (USA).
The conference theme for the PBFEAM 2008 is: 'Innovation for a Sustainable Future: Visions for 2020.' Each business discipline will focus on special sessions with invited and refereed papers dealing with contemporary issues relating to the conference theme.

CALL FOR PAPERS
The Organising Committee invites the submission of papers to be presented at the PBFEAM Conference on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 July 2008. Papers dealing with topics related to the disciplines of Finance, Economics, Accounting, Management, Entrepreneurship and Marketing are welcome. Acceptance of contributed papers will be based on blind referee reports of complete papers. The Doctoral Colloquium will be held on Wednesday 2 July 2008. The objective of the Colloquium is to promote excellence in doctoral research throughout the Pacific Basin region. Students who have passed the confirmation stage of their program are welcome to submit their work-in-progress via the online submission process. Submissions for both the Conference and Doctoral Colloquium are now open via the conference website with the final deadline for submission on Monday 3 March 2008. Authors will be notified on Monday 14 April 2008.
