Position: Assistant Professor – Entrepreneurship/Human Resources Management
Qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent in management or business
administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship, Human Resources
Management or related area preferred. ABD near completion considered.
Practical management/supervisory experience or experience in raising
venture capital, or starting or managing businesses desirable.
Position Description: Teaching requirements for the successful candidate
will emphasize courses which address starting new businesses and related
human resource, financial, operational, marketing and management issues.
Candidate must understand and be willing to teach the fundamentals in all
functional areas of business. Candidate is also expected to advise
students, engage in scholarly and professional activities and provide
service to the university.
We are especially interested in applicants who have found interesting ways
to approach issues related to entrepreneurship and/or human resources
management from a perspective which incorporates ethics, stakeholder
management, and/or social responsibility.
Teaching responsibilities may include entrepreneurship, human resources
management, organizational behavior, and business ethics. Applicants
should highlight experience in these areas.
