    Clinical Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship

State University of New York at Buffalo

Description            The UB School of Management seeks someone with a passion for building an entrepreneurship capability within a university setting, and the ability to bring that same enthusiasm into the classroom.  A primary responsibility will involve teaching in the University's undergraduate Entrepreneurship Academy and offering entrepreneurship courses in the School's undergraduate and graduate programs.  Much of this student interaction will occur outside the traditional classroom setting and involve mentoring efforts to move initiatives from the idea stage to possible commercialization. In addition, this individual will take the lead in developing opportunities for the School of Management to directly support the entrepreneurship community, as well as working with students to fully realize their entrepreneurial potential.  This involves networking, relationship building and the ability to assess how University resources could contribute to the success of these enterprises, and how the entrepreneurship community can support our University programs.  It will also include participation in course offerings through the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership.

Qualifications       Candidates should have demonstrated record of success at building relationships between the academic and entrepreneurship communities, evidence of outstanding teaching in both graduate and undergraduate programs, and experience as a successful entrepreneur.  An MBA is strongly preferred.
