  • 1.  Call for Reviewers

    Posted 08-26-2014 15:12

The Africa Journal of Management (AJOM) is committed to publishing original, rigorous scholarly empirical and theoretical research, which demonstrates a clear understanding of the management literature (defined broadly to include all sub-disciplines) and draws on Africa's local indigenous knowledge, wisdom and current realities. As the first scholarly journal of the Africa Academy of Management, AJOM gives voice to all those who are committed to advancing management scholarship, education and practice in, or about Africa, for the benefit of all of Africa.

We are solidifying our editorial boards and will be accepting manuscripts for peer review in October 2014.  The editorial team consists of Moses Kiggundu (Carleton University, CA), Bruce Lamont (Florida State, USA), Lena Zander (Uppsala University, SE), Christopher Porter (Indiana, USA) and Amon Chizema (Loughborough University, UK).  Our current Editorial Advisory Board includes Walter Baets (University of Cape Town), Harry Barkema (London School of Economics/Erasmus), Robin Ely (Harvard), Mike Hitt (Texas A&M), Tim Judge (Notre Dame), Stella Nkomo (University of Pretoria), Mike Peng (UT-Dallas) and Jim Walsh (Michigan).  The Editorial Review Board includes recognized scholars from over fifty universities worldwide representing a broad cross-section of management research.

You will find a video introducing the journal from the Founding Editor, Moses Kiggundu, at

    Dear ENT members,

please sign up to become a reviewer for the ENT Division at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting 2016.

I invite you all to actively engage in the Division and contribute to ENT’s theme to ‘grow entrepreneurship scholars’. The success of our program highly depends on your active involvement, especially your willingness to share your expertise by reviewing submissions for the scholarly program.

In order to sign up as a ENT reviewer, follow the link to the AOM registration system (http://review.aom.org/), indicate the ENT Division as your top choice, choose your areas of expertise (keywords) and be ready to review 1-3 ENT papers between January 20, 2016 and February 18, 2016. We highly appreciate that you are willing to spare some of your valuable time by reviewing and will offer some review guidelines in due time to make the process most efficient for you.

Please note that even if you have reviewed in the past, you still need to sign up again for the 2016 Annual Meeting.
To become a reviewer now, please sign up through the Centralized Reviewer System (http://review.aom.org/).

Thanks a lot for your contribution to our Division.

    Kind regards,
    Christina Günther
