Fixed Term Contract for 3 Years
To undertake research into entrepreneurial leadership, growth intentions, capabilities and growth. The successful candidate will work to support the project team, led by Professor Andy Lockett (in conjunction with Professors Deniz Ucbasaran, James Hayton, Gerard Hodgkinson and Kevin Mole).
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of related theory and methods, particularly in relation to entrepreneurship and cognition. It is anticipated that you will be able to conduct both qualitative and quantitative research, analyse data, and be able to help lead in the crafting of research publications.
An honours degree and a PhD or equivalent in a related social science discipline (e.g. entrepreneurship, management or psychology) are required, along with demonstrable experience of quantitative and qualitative social research methods and data analysis packages (e.g. SPSS, NVivo). The post requires strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly communicate complex information orally and in writing. You must be available to travel to research sites throughout the UK.
