Dear Colleague,
We are pleased to announce that International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal (http://www.springer.com/11365) has been accepted for inclusion in the Social Sciences Citation Index, a very important achievement for the Journal, Publisher, Editorial Board and its Editors. When David Audretsch, Gary Castrogiovanni, Salvador Roig and I set about the idea of creating a journal that would combine the fields of Entrepreneurship and Management, we strongly believed in the potential of this project and were extremely excited about the prospect of launching such a publication. The idea was also warmly received on the part of a world renowned publisher such as Springer, with a good number of recognized high impact scientific journals.
One of our aims was for the quality of the IEMJ to be also recognized by others. Therefore we set out as one of our chief objectives for the journal to be indexed in the Social Science Citation Index by Thomson-Reuters Scientific. We have just managed to achieve this milestone. The IEMJ will be indexed under the subjects of Management and Business. However, this objective is not the final one for the IEMJ as the idea is not only to maintain the journal in the ISI reports, which implies continuity and improvement in the quality of papers, but to achieve increasing impact through citations in other journals of renown in the Journal Citation Reports.
I would like to express our appreciation on behalf of myself and all my colleagues for the support, collaboration and help from the Editorial Board and other reviewers and collaborators, very busy people that have helped with ideas, special issues and reviews and have helped to achieve this success. I would also like to thank the authors that have chosen to publish their manuscripts in this young journal.
You can submit your paper to the International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal via Editorial Manager at: https://www.editorialmanager.com/iemj/
Best wishes,
Domingo Ribeiro
