<st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Rice</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype></st1:place> has a tenure track position in Operations Management to be filled at the rank of associate or full professor starting Fall 2007. The Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management recently expanded its programs and faculty with the addition of several talented researchers, such as <st1:personname w:st="on">Margarethe Wiersema</st1:personname> and <st1:personname w:st="on">Amit Pazgal</st1:personname>. Qualifications. The position will be filled by an individual actively conducting research who can teach core and elective courses in operations management, has a disciplinary background in operations management and holds a strong scholarly research record appropriate to rank as evidenced by publications in premier journals of the field. Demonstrated research and teaching excellence in the areas of operational management is required. This individual will be charged with building a new group in operations management.
Faculty members are expected to be collegial and contribute to the development of the Jones Graduate School of Management, <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Rice</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype></st1:place>, and our multiple stakeholders.
