The first email was a call to recruit people to collect videos, PPTs, etc, at conferences... now, we turn to the great stuff we all have bookmarked and/or stashed on our computers...
The Entrepreneurship Division in the 21st Century
Finally? LOL but... I hope you are excited as I am to see the updated web site, the great new NewsBlast format, the Facebook and Twitter presence. However, great websites need great content. And that's where YOU come in. "YOU" meaning..... You. J
Part 2...
B: Capture ALL the Best People and ALL the Best Resources. Share It.
All of you have favorite blogs you read (a few of you even write them)
All of you have favorite websites (er. favorite *entrepreneurship* websites)
Most of you have people you follow on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Slideshare, etc.
All of you have saved killer powerpoints & other docs and podcasts & videos.
Time. To. Share.
Please send us YOUR favorite stuff (try to minimize the self-promotion, ok, but we are entrepreneurs, aren't we? LOL)
Your favorite blogs -> we'll make a blogroll for the ages
Favorite websites, too -> Ditto
Your favorites to follow on Facebook & Twitter -> We'll make sure they are on our list!
Best of all, we'd love to see the great stuff you have socked away on your computers – videos & audio, Presentations & explanations. Post the slides & docs on Slideshare [free] or G-Docs & we'll link them up. The videos can go to YouTube & we'll link those.
Example of miscellaneous crap on Slideshare: http://www.slideshare.net/norriskrueger [ugliest PPTs ever, LOL] You'll see how easy that is AND how many hits you can get.
Here's what I will post to start – I have both PPTs and video from Jeff Stamp's insanely good keynote re entrepreneurial creativity. You should have those too!
I also am a total "lean startup" freak and Startup Weekend fanatic. I will post the best slide decks and presentations I have from Steve Blank & Alex Osterwalder. If I can verify permission, I will post the BEST EVER depiction of a typical entrepreneurial biz model, courtesy of that well-known documentary series, South Park!
Again, we want to capture OUR best people but we also want to capture THE best work being done in:
Entrepreneurship Research,
Entrepreneurial Learning and
Entrepreneurial Community Involvement.
I will take the lead on curating these lists but I am looking forward to one or more of you stealing it from me ;) Here's what we will need...
Job #1: Populate the website with links, links, links (
Job #2: Maintain/Update
Job #3: Evangelize! (we do want people using it, eh?)
By the way, NO need for these jewels to be in English. If you have a killer video in Japanese... link away!
Also, we WILL want to be able to give full credit to the authors.
Please, please, PLEASE send me [link] your favorite:
Blog
Website
Twitterati & Facebook likes
LinkedIn group
-and-
Links to your favorite:
Video (and/or podcast)
Presentation(s)
Documents/materials
Email me with questions (or tweet to @entrep_thinking) meanwhile, here's a public wiki in G-Docs where you can leave Your Best Stuff! https://docs.google.com/document/d/1lCpC_v5SjfCUuYBjOtJ6yA5o8h9x8hfpirIOJkQT260/edit or more mercifully... http://goo.gl/5wbWd
You WILL be hearing from me again.. and again.. and... LOL So you might as well take a few minutes and send me some stuff!
