    Dear Entrepreneurship Division Member:


    It's time to register, reserve your room and make your travel arrangements for the 53rd International Council for Small Business (ICSB) World Conference in  Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, June 22 -25, 2008. Early registration rates are still available.  The theme of this year's conference is "Advancing Small Business and Entrepreneurship: From Research to Results". A key aim of the conference is to bridge the gap between research and action.

    Registration:
    We encourage you to register online by clicking on the following website link: http://register.icsb2008.org/registration/Scripts/registration.asp. To avoid processing delays, verify that all required information is correctly and completely filled out on the form.

    The conference is scheduled to begin on Sunday, June 22, and end on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 2:00 pm. You can also register online for select Pre-conference workshops and colloquium requiring separate enrollment. For a list of these sessions visit http://www.icsb2008.org/policyforum.html.

    For those of you who love lobster, the Gala Dinner will feature key note speaker, Ben Barry, founder of the highly successful Ben Barry Agency Inc. (http://www.benbarry.com/default.htm) which has been instrumental in launching the Dove "pro-aging" campaign and in transforming the fashion and advertising industry. The agency has been featured on CNN, FOX News, The Oprah Winfrey Show, CTV National News, Fashion Television, CBC Morning News, and as well as in the Globe and Mail, People Magazine, National Post, Toronto Star, and Profit Magazine. With a head office in Toronto, Canada, its client list has since exploded to such brands as Coca-Cola, Macy's, Dove, Old Navy, L'Oreal, Nike, MTV, and Sears.

    The cost of the Gala Dinner is included in the registration cost, but you must indicate whether you will be in attendance to guarantee a reserved seat. Additional tickets for family members and guests can be purchased on-line when registering for the conference and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

    The ICSB 2008 World Conference Program outline is now available online. Members attending the conference will receive the printed program onsite.

    Housing:
