    The School of Entrepreneurship at Oklahoma State University announces two position openings:

     

    Carl Thoma Distinguished Clinical Professor in Entrepreneurship

    School of Entrepreneurship

    Spears School of Business

    Oklahoma State University

     

    This is a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position for an individual with a proven record of entrepreneurial accomplishment.  The position involves a mix of teaching and high-impact service activities within the School of Entrepreneurship.  The individual selected will teach undergraduate and graduate courses and modules in our entrepreneurship curriculum. Further, they will be responsible for assisting with the university-wide entrepreneurship initiative.  Specific duties related to this initiative include working with faculty members from different disciplines on identifying ways to build entrepreneurship into their courses, academic programs, extracurricular activities and outreach efforts. In addition, the person will liaise with units on campus devoted to new product development, technology commercialization, and economic development.  The position requires expertise in the application of tools, concepts, frameworks, and pedagogical approaches to the development of innovative, scalable business concepts and the successful launch of new ventures.  Expertise in working on entrepreneurial opportunities with faculty and students from a diverse array of disciplines, as well as with practitioners, is highly valued. A master's degree or higher qualification is strongly preferred.  Applicants are encouraged to provide evidence of entrepreneurial accomplishments, teaching potential, and high impact industry engagement related to entrepreneurship.
