    As announced last week at the Academy, The Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at USC has awarded the fourth annual Greif Research Impact Award in Entrepreneurship - please see the announcement below. You might be interested in taking a look at the list of past winners, the 2001-2004 annual Top 20 article impact rankings, and the database of articles that met the search criteria for the award.     GREIF RESEARCH IMPACT AWARD 2010

    The fourth annual Greif Research Impact Award was presented at the Academy of Management on August 9, 2010. This year's winners are Steve Maguire (McGill University), Cynthia Hardy (University of Melbourne), and Thomas B. Lawrence (Simon Fraser University) for their 2004 article "Institutional entrepreneurship in emerging fields: HIV/AIDS treatment advocacy in Canada," published in Academy of Management Journal, vol. 47(5).

    The Greif Research Impact Award is a $5,000 annual award given to the researcher(s) who published the most impactful entrepreneurship article six years ago in the top management and entrepreneurship journals. The 2010 award is given to the most impactful article published in 2004, based on Social Sciences Citation Index citations in 2005-2009.
