The A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management of the <st1:placetype w:st="on">University</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">California</st1:placename>, <st1:city w:st="on">Riverside</st1:city> invites applications for two tenure-track assistant professor positions at its new <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Heckmann</st1:placename> <st1:placename w:st="on">International</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">Center</st1:placetype></st1:place> for Entrepreneurial Management to begin July 1, 2007. The <st1:placename w:st="on">Heckmann</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">Center</st1:placetype> is located in the resort town of <st1:city w:st="on">Palm</st1:city> Desert, approximately 65 miles east of the <st1:place w:st="on">Riverside</st1:place> campus. Both newly-minted Ph.D.s and advanced assistant professors are encouraged to apply. The position is in the area of entrepreneurship, broadly defined. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach entrepreneurship, as well as other MBA courses, such as strategy, managerial economics, or organizational behavior. The <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Heckmann</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">Center</st1:placetype></st1:place> promotes leading-edge interdisciplinary scholarship on entrepreneurship and will be hosting numerous research conferences in the coming years.
Candidates should have highly sophisticated research training and demonstrate the potential for scholarly distinction in entrepreneurship. Ph.D. in management, economics, or related field, with research interests in entrepreneurship and teaching experience preferred.
