The Anderson Schools of Management at the University of New Mexico
invites applications for an open rank position in the Department of
Finance, International, and Technology Management. This appointment may
be at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in a
probationary status leading to a tenure decision or may be a tenured
position depending on qualifications. The appointment begins no later
than August 2007, subject to budgetary approval. The successful
candidate will be responsible for teaching courses at the graduate and
undergraduate levels.
The Anderson Schools of Management are fully accredited by the AACSB.
The department is a 14-person growing department in the Anderson Schools
and houses BBA and MBA programs in Finance and International Management
and an MBA program in the Management of Technology (MOT) and a proposed
Ph.D. program in MOT. The department is also home to the Anderson
Financial Services and Investment Center which houses Anderson's
student-managed investment fund and banking outreach programs as well as
programs in MOT, Entrepreneurship and International Management that have
been successful in getting grants/contracts from state, national and
international organizations. The school currently holds a Business and
International Education grant related to Technology Entrepreneurship and
Sustainable Enterprise involving Latin America through the US Department
of Education.
Minimum qualifications:
Applicants will have completed all the minimum requirements as follows:
* Must have a Ph.D. completed no later than August 2007 in
International Management; or must have a Ph.D. completed no later than
August 2007 in Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Management of
Technology or related Management field and the focus of the research
must be in International Management.
* Must show evidence or promise of a significant program of
research and scholarship
Preference will be given to candidates with:
* Publications in scholarly journals on topics related to
International Management
* Evidence of excellence in teaching core and elective courses in
International Management at the undergraduate and/or graduate level

1) A signed letter of application expressing your interest and
qualifications for the position. Please include the JR# referenced in
