EMAEE: EMAEE is an international conference for young researchers (PhDs and
post-docs completed in last 5 years) to discuss the latest methods and
tools in applied innovation studies with top international scholars.
Leading innovation scholars present keynote speeches and chair the parallel
sessions of the young researchers.
Conference Theme: The theme of Globalisation, Services and Innovation
includes: Demand, Economic geography, Entrepreneurship, Environmental
innovation, Empirically-applied simulation modelling, Industrial dynamics,
Innovation systems, Institutional change, IT, New firms & growth,
Outsourcing and offshoring, Services innovation, Sustainable development,
Theory of the firm, Public Sector Services and Policy.

Paper submission: Invitation to the Conference is based on an extended
abstract of around 1000 words. The abstract must include information on the
relevant theories being tested, methodology, data, and (expected) results.

1 February 2007: notification of acceptance or rejection of abstracts

The Schumpeter Society offers a 1000 prize for the best conference paper
by a PhD student. A selection of papers will appear in the Edward Elgar
series on Applied Economics, and an edited book on applied simulation
analysis. Special issues of relevant journals will also be organised.
