    Research Fellow Opportunities for Early to Mid-Career Entrepreneurship Academics

    - Feel like giving yourself serious time to concentrate on your research for a significant amount of time?

    - In a really nice natural as well as academic environment?

    The triple-accredited (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA) Faculty of Business at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) invites early- to mid-career entrepreneurship academics to indicate their preliminary interest in either of two schemes, as described below.

    1. The Vice-Chancellors Fellowship Scheme. This scheme offers 3-year research fellowship positions in two categories for academics who finished their PhD 0-8 years ago.  For more information on this scheme see www.researchfellowships.qut.edu.au/ and www.researchfellowships.qut.edu.au/about.jsp.

    Mid career researchers with a superb research track record who consequently are over qualified for the above scheme may opt for

    2. ARC Future Fellowship. This national scheme offers 4-year fellowships to highly qualified mid-career academics who received their PhD up to 15 years ago.     Important! From the perspective of the QUT Faculty of Business the above schemes are externally funded. For the right candidate the Faculty is willing to negotiate benefits in addition to those described on the websites linked above. For both schemes an evidence of excellent research promise/research track record, in relation to time since PhD, is essential. Success in both schemes requires the endorsement of the Faculty of Business. Therefore, if you have a preliminary interest please as a first step send and email describing the nature of your interest and attach your CV to Assistant Dean (Research) Per Davidsson at per.davidsson@qut.edu.au.

    The schemes have here been pitched for entrepreneurship academics. However, they are open to business (and other) researchers with other interests. If you know of such academics who might have an interest in and be qualified for these types of fellowship at QUT please do not hesitate to forward this information, or refer them to me so I can link them up with the relevant QUT contact.
