The Department of Management at the John Molson School of Business, Concordia University in Montréal is searching to fill the postion of
CIBC Distinguished Professorship in Entrepreneurship and Family Business.
The CIBC Distinguished Professor in Entrepreneurship and Family Business is
expected to assume a leadership role in spearheading research and teaching in the
area of Entrepreneurship and Family Business.
We seek applicants who have exceptionally strong and recognized research
records in the Entrepreneurship and Family Business areas for appointment
at the Full or Associate Professor level. The Professorship will be part of the
Department of Management. Research expertise may include (but is not limited
to) new venture creation, technology-based start-ups, family business, and various
fields of entrepreneurship such as strategic, social, international, and minority
entrepreneurship. The successful candidate is expected to disseminate his/her
research in the relevant practitioner and policy communities.
Additional selection criteria include successful teaching experience at all levels, in
particular working with research fellows and graduate students. Communication
skills in French would be considered an asset. Salary will be commensurate with
qualifications and experience.
