The Department of Management of Organizations aims to become a leading intellectual center for management research, with a focus on the <st1:place>Pacific Rim</st1:place>, especially <st1:country-region><st1:place>China</st1:place></st1:country-region>. Our university provides a supportive research environment, attractive research funding, and leading-edge facilities. The management department has a group of productive and professional faculty and staff with strong enthusiasm in conducting high quality management research, whose research has been published in most of the top tier management journals. Applications and nominations are now invited for senior ranks (Associate/Full Professors) in the area of strategic management, organizational theory, and entrepreneurship. Both regular (tenured) and teaching-track appointments are considered. Applicants for tenured faculty positions must have a strong record of published research in premier management journals. Demonstrated excellence for MBA teaching is also required. For teaching track applicants, teaching excellence in MBA courses is required. The language of instruction at HKUST is English.
