    New Faculty Positions- Entrepreneurship

    Position- Assistant Professor Entrepreneurship

    Start Date- Sept. 1, 2007

     

    Applications are invited for two tenure-track positions in Entrepreneurship at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Babson</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">College</st1:placetype></st1:place> (http://www.babson.edu). The position requires a strong research orientation with a principal teaching and research focus in entrepreneurship including the ability to teach in one of the areas of new venture creation and growth, international entrepreneurship, corporate entrepreneurship, technology entrepreneurship, or social venturing/enterprise development. Experience teaching in a graduate program executive education, or distance learning would be beneficial. Duties include research, supervision of graduate students, teaching at the undergraduate, graduate, and executive levels, and professional service within the College and community. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship (or related discipline), have demonstrated success in college teaching, a record of publication and an active research program primarily in entrepreneurship. Candidates should be motivated and committed to Entrepreneurship research and teaching, and hands-on experience in an entrepreneurial context is a plus.

    Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.  Salary is competitive but will depend on qualifications, experience, and research record.

    The earliest appointment date is Sept. 1, 2007
