Dear Colleagues,
As part of an ongoing, government-funded global study of the outcomes of entrepreneurship education (EE), my colleagues and I have begun, among other things, an investigation of the issues related to the construction, format and content of university-level introductory EE courses.
Specifically, we would like to gather and examine EE course outlines/syllabi to assess such things as course content and structure. We would be most pleased if you could send us, via email, copies of your current university-level introductory EE course outlines/syllabi.
To assess changes in course content and structure over time, we are also very interested in gathering examples of older course outlines/syllabi. As such, if you have examples of unedited course outlines/syllabi that are five (5) or more years older, we would find them a most welcome home in our research.
As a formal research project we have received ethics approval to examine your course outlines, and report findings from them in the aggregate, as long as we keep your identities anonymous. As such, if you haven't already removed your name or the name of any students from the course outline/syllabi when you send them to us, we will do it for you before it gets entered into our database. We will also remove the name of your institution and any other potentially identifying information from your submissions if you haven't already done so.
NOTE: Please send your course outlines, both new and old, to my Research Assistant at: e.s.albert@unb.ca.
Note also that if you're interested in becoming involved with this research or with EEE in general, please visit our site: http://www.eeeresearch.com or contact me. We are always seeking curious new colleagues and potential coauthors.
If you would like to receive more information about his request, please contact me directly via email at jeff.mcnally@unb.ca.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Sincerely,
Jeff
