Applications are invited for the fourth Virtual Summer School in Entrepreneurship Research (VSSER), a no-fee summer school to be held virtually (fully online) in May 2024.
The purpose of VSSER is to expose participants to foundational ideas and recent developments in entrepreneurship research (defined broadly). Leading scholars share their insights and experiences publishing entrepreneurship research. Past scholars who have generously contributed to our understanding of entrepreneurship as guest speakers in VSSER include:

The unique format of VSSER provides for a live virtual discussion with the guest speakers, including ample time for questions from participants. Prior participants have included doctoral students, junior faculty, and prospective doctoral students. Participants are expected to read seminal and current articles before the session, interact with other participants before and after the VSSER sessions, and network with senior scholars. There is no cost for participation in VSSER-24.

VSSER-24 is organized by Vishal Gupta of The University of Alabama. It was launched in 2021 with over 200 participants from 20+ countries. It welcomes participants from all career stages from around the world interested in learning about entrepreneurship research.
