How do we as researchers and journal editors/reviewers handle rejections? This symposium brings together established scholars with extensive publication, review and editorial experiences in the fields of entrepreneurship, strategy, innovation, and management. We aim to discuss the following topics: (1) What are the common reasons for rejection? Which of these reasons are easier to address, and which ones harder to address?  (2) How do we handle rejections rationally and emotionally? (3) What can we do to turn a rejected paper into a better and even publishable paper? Share specific experience in handling a rejected paper as a journal editor and as a researcher.

The structure of the symposium is as follows. Our panelists will each discuss the topic. This will be followed by Q&A and a discussion between the panelists.
