    The MBSC Entrepreneurship Research Center is pleased to announce a call for applications for a postdoctoral fellowship in entrepreneurship. Funded by the Babson Global Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, the center aims to promote entrepreneurship research within the region. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing the research center and fostering an entrepreneurship research ecosystem. The center will be administering research seminars, workshops, and research grants. 

    The postdoctoral fellow will be supervised by Dr. Ahmed Sewaid (MBSC), Leandro Pongeluppe (Wharton Business School), and Shaker Zahra (University of Minnesota). This position entails no teaching obligations and is based at MBSC.

    The ideal candidate will exhibit the following qualifications:

    • A Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
    • The ability to produce original, rigorous, and practically relevant research.
    • The ability to write papers for leading journals in entrepreneurship and management.
    • Strong quantitative research skills (ability to work with datasets, collect and organize data, knowledge of Stata/R/Python)
    • Demonstrated abilities in mixed methods approaches (i.e., surveys, field interviews, and secondary data).

    Responsibilities of the candidate will include:

    • Participating in ongoing research projects developed by the research team.
    • Supporting the activities and initiatives of the MBSC Entrepreneurship Research Center.

    Position Details:

    • Duration: 1 year, with the possibility of renewal based on performance.
    • Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 USD (income tax-free)
    • Other benefits: Personal development programs offered by Babson College, research/travel support, private medical insurance coverage, relocation allowance.
