POSITION: The Department of Entrepreneurship in the Farmer School of Business at Miami University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor to teach multiple sections of ESP 103: Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurial Thinking in the First Year Integrated Core (FYIC) Program. This position is a full-time, benefits-eligible position. Position start date is August 19, 2024. Multiple positions may be available. Appointment to start Fall Semester 2024.
BACKGROUND: The FYIC is an innovative four course bundle that teaches students critical skills such as critical thinking, creative thinking, computational thinking & coding, ethical thinking, communication, and collaboration. As an ESP 103 teacher, you will be a part of a team of faculty who working collaboratively to integrate these key skills across all four FYIC classes (BUS 101: Foundations of Business; BUS 102: Foundations of Business Communication; ESP 103: Creativity, Innovation, and Entrepreneurial Thinking; and BUS 104: Introduction to Computational Thinking for Business).

REQUIRED: Doctorate in business, entrepreneurship, creative studies, or closely related fields by the date of appointment for appointment as a Visiting Assistant Professor. Master's degree in business, entrepreneurship, creative studies, or closely related fields by the date of appointment for appointment as Instructor.

DESIRED: Consideration may be given to candidates with teaching or work experience related to general entrepreneurship. start-up, corporate, creative, or social entrepreneurship.
