We are delighted to share the call for papers for the special issue "Platform Organizations and Societal Change" in Organization Studies.
The special issue aims to advance our understanding of the various ways through which platform organizations change markets, business, and society as well as are shaped by new and established forms of organizing. To that end, we are seeking innovative submissions that theorize at all levels and that utilize wide range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies and methods, including mixed methods and novel approaches.
The special issue is edited by Cristina Alaimo (LUISS University), Annabelle Gawer (University of Surrey), Stefan Haefliger (Stockholm School of Economics & City, University of London), Evelyn Micelotta (University of Ottawa) and Georg Reischauer (WU Vienna University of Economics and Business & Johannes Kepler University Linz).
The submission deadline is February 28, 2025.
