The Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS), held on the Big Island in early January, has dozens of tracks. The Digital Innovation, Transformation, and Entrepreneurship mini-track solicits three types of submissions: (1) the antecedents, processes, infrastructures, outcomes, and organizational settings associated with the generation and appropriation of novel product and service innovations enabled by digital technologies; (2) new organizing structures and processes enabled by digitalization, as well as associated novel organizational arrangements and business models, the transformation process, antecedents, and outcomes; and (3) new ventures that involve the identification and deployment of emerging, radical innovations in digital technologies such as blockchain, 5G, IoT, and bots, robots, and the host of technologies rooted in different sorts of artificial intelligence.
