    FACULTY POSITIONS IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP

The Department of Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation at Baylor University invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions. One position will be at the Assistant Professor level and one position will be at the (tenured) Associate or Full Professor level. Successful candidates will begin employment in August 2023.

Candidates for the Assistant Professor position should possess an earned doctorate in the appropriate field of study (or expect completion by August 2023). Candidates must have significant research and teaching accomplishments in entrepreneurship, innovation, or a closely related field or demonstrated potential to perform at the highest level. Publications in top entrepreneurship and management journals are highly desirable and a desire to work closely with Ph.D. students and teach at the doctoral level is a plus. Practical experience as an entrepreneur is also helpful. Depending on research interest, successful candidates can be affiliated with Baylor's Technology Entrepreneurship Initiative, which focuses on technology commercialization, or the Baugh Center's Free Enterprise program, which hosts research, teaching, and outreach activities on the free enterprise system.

Candidates for the Associate or Full Professor position should possess an earned doctorate and significant research and teaching accomplishments in entrepreneurship, innovation, or a closely related field. Publications in top entrepreneurship and management journals are essential. The Department is particularly interested in candidates with research interests in innovation, technology strategy, the commercialization of university technologies, and corporate entrepreneurship who can play a leadership role in Baylor's Lab2Market Collaborative. A desire to work with Ph.D. students and teach at the doctoral level is a high priority. Candidates with exceptional records may be considered for an Endowed Chair or Endowed Professorship.

Salary for each position is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
