    Assistant/Associate Professor of Management
at Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship
    Montana State University - Bozeman

Position description: The Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship invites applications for two tenure-track positions to join the college's Management Option. We seek candidates who are excellent in imparting state-of-the-art management knowledge to a socioeconomically, geographically, and increasingly ethnically diverse student body. In addition, candidates are expected to publish in top and impactful journals related to their field and engage in service. The management program offers an undergraduate concentration as part of the BS in Business program, and meaningfully contributes to the new graduate MS in Innovation and Management program. Therefore, a successful candidate must be able to teach with high quality across a variety of courses and topics at the Bachelor and Master levels, carrying a load of five sections per academic year. This intended hire is part of a deliberate effort to further innovate in areas such as analytics and/or entrepreneurship (and possibly others) education into the undergraduate and graduate curriculums. Candidates with terminal degrees, experience, interests, and scholarship in Management, Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Management Information Systems, Operations, Logistics, or similar fields are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate should, therefore, be able to collaborate with faculty across a broad cross-section of business disciplines.

    Required Qualifications:

    1. Ph.D. or D.B.A. degree with emphasis in Management, Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Management Information Systems, Operations, Logistics, or a closely related field by start date.
    2. Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in analytics or entrepreneurship supporting the business majors.
    3. For assistant professor rank, potential to carry on a successful program of scholarly research resulting in publication in respected peer-reviewed journals. For associate professor rank, demonstrated success publishing in respected peer-reviewed journals.
