    The Area of Management in the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University invites applications for a full-time, 9 month Visiting Assistant Professor of Management position to  begin in August of 2024. Candidates will be expected to teach face-to-face courses at the Lubbock, TX campus. 

    The Area of Management currently has over 25 faculty members and 13 doctoral students  who publish research in top journals in the field and are award-winning subject-matter experts in diversity, entrepreneurship, family business, human resource management,  leadership, organizational behavior, organization theory, and strategic management. The  Area takes pride in teaching excellence, and faculty members have been awarded various teaching awards.

    Major/Essential Functions:

    At Texas Tech University, the Visiting Assistant Professor title designates a full-time, non-tenure acquiring role with primary duties in teaching organized classes and/or instructional labs. In line with TTU's strategic priorities to engage and empower a diverse student body, applicants should have experience working with diverse student populations at the undergraduate level.

    Required Qualifications:

    1. Candidates must hold a doctorate in management or a related field. ABD candidates are encouraged to apply if all doctoral degree requirements will be completed by August 2024. 
    2. Specific experience or demonstrate ability to teach face-to-face courses in entrepreneurship and/or international management.
