CONTEMPORARY ENTERPRISE AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN CONTEXT

    Introduction:

'Contemporary Applied Enterprise & Entrepreneurship in Context' is the debut volume for the Routledge Research in Applied Enterprise & Entrepreneurship book series (AEES). This foundational book in the AEES series aims to bring together key discourses concerning enterprise and entrepreneurship in context. The book aims to source and assemble contextualised practitioner accounts of enterprise and entrepreneurship and situate these, in relation to relevant existing or emergent theory.

    Book Scope:

The AEES series editors welcome abstracts from academics, entrepreneurs, business leaders and practitioners that reflect enterprise and entrepreneurship theory and practice within any sector, interest or industry, including the arts, sciences, business and politics. The following were the original indicative (but not necessarily prescriptive) scope of topic areas that might be reflected within submissions. This has now been updated in the Extended Call Considerations section.

    • Current perspectives on enterprise and entrepreneurship in a sectoral context

    • Idea generation, assessment, and success planning within a particular sector

    • New venture creation and sustainability and differences between sectors

    • Innovation principles and practice in different sectors

    • Contemporary challenges in enterprise by sector.

    • Social Enterprise interests by sector

    • Context and Sector Analysis by way of comparison
