    Dear all,
We invite nominations from faculty at business schools in Europe for their doctoral students to
participate in the SEI Doctoral Consortium to be held on Friday, September 30th – Sunday,
October 2nd 2022, at Rotterdam School of Management. The consortium seeks to bring together
a select group of doctoral students doing research in the areas of Strategy, Entrepreneurship
and/or Innovation. The Doctoral Consortium will take place alongside the Faculty
Workshop, under the banner of a single event.

Selection process: Nominations should be made by the faculty (rather than the student) and
should be coordinated at the institution level. Since the consortium is designed to help students
develop their research, we prefer nominees whose research is beyond the thesis proposal stage.
A selection committee will evaluate all nominees, and only a select group of Ph.D. students
will be invited to attend. Priority will be given to students who have not presented at a previous
SEI consortium and students whose thesis advisor commits to participate in the event. All
participants are expected to be based in Europe. To nominate a student, please use the
nomination page on the SEI Consortium website (https://www.seiconsortium.com/nomination).
We strive for diversity in institutions, participants, and research topics.
The deadline for the submission of papers is June 15th, 2022.
About the SEI Doctoral Consortium: The SEI Consortium is an initiative of faculty from
Europe's leading business schools, including Bocconi University, Copenhagen Business
School, ETH Zurich, HEC Paris, Imperial College London, and London Business School, to
help advance the research frontier and stimulate the academic labour market. To this end, it
supports an annual Faculty Workshop and a Doctoral Consortium. The SEI Doctoral
Consortium provides doctoral students at universities in Europe with a unique opportunity to
present their dissertation-stage research to, and receive developmental feedback from leading
strategy, innovation, and entrepreneurship scholars, including the editors of many of the top
    journals in the field.
    All the best,
    Luca Berchicci
