The Department of Economics of the University of Huelva with the partnerships of the Faculty of Economics of the University of the Algarve (Portugal) and University Pablo de Olavide (Seville) are pleased to invite you to the XIII Conference on Labour Economics —JEL 2019— of the AEET (Spanish Association of Labour Economics), which will take place between June 12 and 14, 2019 at the Puerto Antilla Grand Hotel, in Islantilla (Huelva).
The deadline for full paper submission is March 26, 2019.
We gladly announce internationally recognised keynote speakers who confirmed their participation:
- Pedro Portugal (Bank of Portugal and Universidade Nova de Lisboa). The returns to education unveiled
- Juan Francisco Jimeno (Bank of Spain, IZA). Implications of demographic and technical changes.
- Catalina Amuedo-Dorantes (San Diego State, US, CReAM; FEDEA & IZA). Immigration policy consequences: Evidence from the U.S.
Additionally, all the participants can attend the Lluis Fina Awardfor the best article published in 2017 or 2018, and the PhD students can apply for one of the Luis Toharia Scholarships.
The schedule also includes a course on Advanced Methods for Labour Economics. The course will take place on Wednesday June 12th, 2019.
