MEETING DETAILS
This year’s meeting will take place in Norfolk, Virginia. Billed as “the heart of the Virginia Waterfront: a vibrant port city,” Norfolk boasts the northern end of the Intracoastal Waterway and sits approximately 25 minutes (19 miles) from the Virginia Beach oceanfront. The meeting will be held October 8 -12th, at the Hilton Norfolk The Main, an art and culinary destination in itself. Further, our hotel sits within a short walk of The USS Wisconsin, brew pubs, waterfront restaurants, and unique cultural and historic local venues. The exchange of scholarly and practical knowledge, innovative professional development opportunities, and fellowship promise to make SMA 2019 one of the best to date!
