I have created a course for young adults and older teens using the "FLIPPED" model, and all 26 lessons are online. Message to Instructors:
If you are teaching a business or entrepreneurship course, I invite you to take a look at the first-ever, FLIPPED math/business course ON-LINE (guest speakers: Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Jim Carrey!). The course:
· Implements project-based learning, with heavy influence on STEM areas
· Develops critical thinking of a business person
- Integrates computing skills (e.g. creating financial spreadsheets)
- Introduces students to design thinking and brainstorming techniques to identify problems worth solving
This has been a labor of love for me, and I'm pleased to give you free access to the first two lessons here: http://sagetris.com. The course is called "Turning Risk into Success." Once a student completes the course, they receive a certificate from California State University, Chico's Center for Entrepreneurship.
